Nearly twenty years after the last new episode, Balamory is back on CBeebies, and we’ve been supplying the camera kit since the revival began. Miss Hoolie, PC Plum, Penny Pocket and Edie McCredie returned to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull in summer 2025, and the first new series aired in spring 2026.
A children’s drama shot on an island needs kit that delivers a polished, colourful image day after day, whatever the west coast weather is doing. Lion TV built their look around three things from us:

The classic “Cooke look”: warm, gentle and flattering on faces, ideal for a show built around its characters.

The package was rounded out with ARRI wireless lens control, Vaxis Storm 3000 wireless video, an O’Connor 2575 head, a DJI Ronin 2, and a Schulz Sprayoff rain deflector for the inevitable Mull showers.
